| Forum
membership acknowledges excellence in advocacy, and
provides members with a national network of experienced
colleagues for professional referral and information
exchange in major cases. Members must have acted as
principal counsel in at least one case in which their
client has received a verdict, award or settlement in
the amount of one million dollars or more.
The organization was founded in 1993 and its membership
is limited to a small percentage of trial lawyers
across the country. The practice areas of the members
include personal injury, products liability, malpractice,
construction, environmental, employment, insurance,
business and other types of litigation.
The purpose of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum
is to certify the accomplishments of trial lawyers
who have achieved large awards so that they may benefit
from that recognition, and so that colleagues and
clients will be aware of such accomplishments.
