1 dead, 3 hurt in Westfield collision

Dovie J. Masden, 55, of Sheridan, was killed when the 1997 Pontiac she was driving was struck by a 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck near Westfield, near 186th Street and Casey Road.

Eric Price, 16, Sheridan, a passenger in the pickup, was flown to Methodist Hospital with head injuries, police said.

Police say Masden was traveling north on Casey, ran a stop sign and pulled into the path of the pickup, driven by Garrett Gossard, 17.

An ambulance took Gossard to Methodist Hospital, where he was treated for pain in his arm.

Curtis Moore, 15, another passenger in Garrett's truck, was treated at the scene for cuts on his hand.
