3-ton rock kills Bloomington quarry worker

A Bloomington man was killed Monday afternoon in an industrial accident at Monroe's Victor Oolitic Quarry.
Tim L. McCammon, 47, of Bloomington, was pronounced dead at Victor Oolitic Stone Co., 7850 S. Victor Pike, after a 6,000-pound piece of stone tipped on its side while being prepared by McCammon for transport.
McCammon was assisting in "hooking" the stone when the 14-foot-long, 6-foot-tall slab became unstable and fell to one side crushing McCammon.
