8-year-old Ejected and Other Family Members Injured in I-74 Crash

Alvin Kimbrell, 62, Tennessee, was traveling east on I-74, near Sunman, November 16, 2008, with his family when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road.
An 8-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center by University of Cincinnati Air Care.
Kimbrell and other passengers were transported to Margaret Mary Community Hospital, where they were treated and released.
The road surface condition was a contributing factor of the crash and the accident is still under investigation.
