Motorcycle crashes with Pick-up

A Terre Haute man was taken to a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after his motorcycle reportedly rear-ended a pickup truck on Wabash Avenue.
Lewis Ross, 47, of Terre Haute, was headed west on Wabash Avenue at 131/2 St. before 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, March 4, 2009, on a small Elite mini-motorcycle when he struck an F-250 pickup driven by Andrew Fox, 16, from behind.
A dent from the impact on the driver’s side of the truck’s tailgate was visible. Ross did not appear to have been wearing a helmet, and 911 dispatchers reported he was bleeding from the head at the scene.
