Referring a Case

Keller & Keller will advance expenses associated with your client's case, where necessary, and achieve the best outcome for your injury case referral. By referring a case, you eliminate any risk you have associated with paying expenses during the case, remove fee negotiations that might not fit your firm's practice, and you are still compensated while you concentrate on the needs of your own practice.

Co-Counsel And Referral Fees

Keller & Keller can help you generate a source of income with no overhead. We routinely pay referral fees to other lawyers in accordance with the The Rules of Professional Conduct. The Rules prohibit referral fees from being paid to non-lawyers.

The Rules also allow us to co-counsel a case with other lawyers and pay appropriate referral fees to those lawyers. The client's prior consent is required.

We regularly seek out qualified lawyers in other states for co-counsel on our out of state cases. We find that co-counseling with local lawyers on our out-of-state cases provides our clients with expertise of the local environment, local contacts and reduced travel costs.
