ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Authorities anounced that an Albuquerque woman has been sentenced for a fatal crash in Bernalillo County.
In a Facebook post, Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman said that a judge sentenced Anna Cordova to 12 years in prison. The incident happened in April 2022.
According to Bregman, Cordova was driving the wrong way on Tramway Boulevard when she slammed into a motorcycle, killing the driver, Danny Archuleta. Investigators found a pipe and marijuana inside her pickup truck.
In November, Cordova pleaded no contest to homicide by vehicle DWI and great bodily harm by vehicle.
