ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation notified drivers of a crash affecting traffic in Albuquerque on Tuesday morning.
In an alert posted on NMRoads at 9:10 a.m., officials said the accident happened on Interstate 25 northbound at mile marker 226, at the ramp to Interstate 40 westbound. The right lane was shut down on I-25 north while emergency crews and vehicles were responding.
Motorists were asked to slow down and use caution when traveling through the area, and to seek alternate routes.
