Keller & Keller on Facebook

Our History

In 1936, George S. Keller identified the need for a different type of attorney. He spent many hours observing the style of several fellow lawyers and their approach toward law. It didn't take him long to realize that clients deserved more than legal representation. George believed that he could provide exemplary, professional legal representation while fostering a "family-style" relationship with his clients.

After scraping together $500 for a desk and various other office equipment to start his practice, George soon witnessed what he already knew – clients were in disbelief that their attorney would show such a mix of professionalism, personal devotion, and care toward their legal and personal troubles. After winning their case, George's clients were quick to express unnecessary gratitude for the "style" in which he represented them.

George S. Keller always placed the client first. In fact, his only rival to the passion and sincerity he displayed toward his clients was the recognition bestowed upon him by his peers as one of our nation’s pre-imminent trial lawyers. Most notably, he was renowned for setting the precedent regarding our country’s view on wrongful death damages by prevailing in the Michigan Supreme Court case Wycko v. Gnodtke.

Three generations later, Keller & Keller remains committed to the values and ideals instilled by its founding patriarch and continues to be recognized as a leader in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. With a team of highly skilled and dedicated lawyers, and experienced professional support staff, Keller & Keller continues to maintain its commitment to excellence in its legal work and the charitable projects within its communities.

Our firm’s roots are traced to Michigan, yet we also have fully-staffed offices in Indiana and New Mexico. State-of-the-art technology connects our offices, allowing Keller & Keller to reach a much larger client base as well as utilize the experience and expertise of several different attorneys. It also allows us to provide clients with a cost-effective, timely, and professional service.

We take pride in understanding the complexities of our client's cases as well as the weight of the emotional toll they may be bearing. We will respond promptly to all inquiries, we will communicate regularly with you on the status of your case, and we will continue to set ourselves apart from other firms. Since 1936, our philosophy has not changed: clients come first.
