BATTLE CREEK, MI - First responders were called to the scene of a vehicle crash at an intersection in Battle Creek early Friday morning, according to WOOD.
The Battle Creek Fire Department said that a driver crashed into a power pole in the area of Main Street and East Dickman Road at about 4:20 a.m. The vehicle then went through a concrete barrier and ended up about 50 yards away.
The driver was transported to an area hospital, but there was no immediate word on the extent of the person's injuries. Utility crews were dispatched to the area to repair the power pole.
