18-year-old injured in rollover accident in Algoma Township

ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, MI - Police are investigating an accident in Algoma Township that left a teenage driver hospitalized.

A report by WOOD states that the incident happened early Monday morning on Northland Drive NE near 12 Mile Road NE.

A report at about 4:50 a.m. said that a vehicle had rolled in that area and collided with a telephone pole. Kent County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived to find that the driver, an 18-year-old woman, had been injured.

She was taken to the hospital but no details were immediately available on her condition, or what led to the crash.
