Driver hospitalized following crash on Interstate 465 westbound

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana State Police said a crash in Indianapolis on Tuesday sent a driver to the hospital.

According to a post on X by Sgt. John Perrine at 7:05 p.m., the accident happened on Interstate 465 westbound at the 53 mile marker. The driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The right two lanes of the interstate were expected to be closed for three hours for the crash response, Perrine said.
