Kokomo man dies following 2-car collision in Miami County

MIAMI COUNTY, IN - Indiana State Police said a driver was killed in a two-car crash in Miami County on Monday.

WXIN reports the incident occurred in the area of County Road 150 West and County Road 900 South in Bunker Hill. An investigation indicated that the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze was going north at about 5 p.m. when he crashed into the driver's side of a 2013 GMC Sierra.

The Cruze driver died at the scene. He was identified as 31-year-old Aaron Martin of Kokomo. Two juveniles in his car were taken to a Fort Wayne hospital. The occupants of the GMC sustained minor injuries.

Indiana State Police said they suspect that the consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or narcotics was a contributing factor in the fatal wreck.
