PAW PAW, MI - One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident on icy roads in Van Buren County last week, WOOD reported.
The incident occurred early Tuesday morning on Interstate 94 eastbound near Paw Paw. According to Van Buren County Central Dispatch, the driver of a semi-truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed on the interstate just before 2 a.m. Two other semis and a car were not able to stop in time and also became involved in the collision.
A woman was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. There was no word on which of the vehicles she was in.
The wreck shut down the eastbound lanes of I-94 at Exit 60 for several hours while authorities and first responders worked the crash scene.
