GRANTS, NM - A deadly accident affected traffic in Cibola County on Tuesday morning, according to KRQE.
New Mexico State Police said the crash happened on eastbound Interstate 40 at milepost 63 west of Grants. No details were released on who was killed, or what led to the wreck. Police said only the right lane of I-40 was getting by, with eastbound traffic diverted onto NM 122 at exit 53.
Drivers were advised to expect delays throughout the area. The incident is under investigation by state police, our Albuquerque car accident attorney adds.
