Motorcyclist killed in accident near campus on Wabash Avenue

TERRE HAUTE, IN - An accident in Terre Haute last week claimed the life of a 20-year-old motorcyclist, according to WTHI.

The motorcycle collided with a car Tuesday afternoon on Wabash Avenue/U.S. Highway 40. It happened in front of the campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The motorcycle rider, identified as Mason Carter of Terre Haute, died after being transported to an area hospital.

The crash shut down a stretch of Wabash Avenue and U.S. 40 while investigators and first responders worked the scene.  So far no charges have been filed in the case.
