GALLUP, NM - One person was injured in a crash involving a suspected DWI driver in Gallup on Tuesday night, according to a press release from the Gallup Police Department.
Officers were called to the scene after two vehicles collided near 2025 West Highway 66 at about 8:10 p.m. One of the occupants of the vehicles was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital.
The area was cordoned off to traffic for the investigation. Police said they found open containers of alcoholic beverages inside one of the vehicles.
