KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI - Authorities said a single-vehicle accident in Kalamazoo on Saturday morning sent a driver to the hospital.
According to a WWMT report, a 55-year-old man was driving on Oakland Drive shortly after 2 a.m. when he drove off the roadway near Whites Road. The vehicle rolled over and collided with a tree, causing the driver to be partially ejected.
Officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded and found the man pinned between the vehicle and the tree. He was extricated by first responders and transported to an area hospital. The driver was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening and was released.
