Our Albuquerque team recently had the privilege of partnering with Habitat for Humanity at 2309 William St NE to help build a home for a local family in need.
This project was about more than the wood and nails. It was about investing in the stability, safety, and future of a New Mexico family—and strengthening the communities we’re honored to serve.

Why Habitat for Humanity Matters in New Mexico
Safe, affordable housing is a foundation for everything else in life: health, education, and financial stability. In communities across New Mexico, many hard‑working families are struggling with rising housing costs, overcrowded living conditions, or long commutes from areas where rent is lower but resources are limited.
Habitat for Humanity works to change that by partnering with families to build safe, decent homes they can afford. Homeowners aren’t simply handed a key—they contribute “sweat equity” by working on their own home or another Habitat project, attend homeowner education classes, and purchase their home with an affordable mortgage. It’s a model built on dignity, partnership, and long‑term stability.
For our team at Keller & Keller, that mission aligns closely with our values. Every day, we represent clients whose lives have been turned upside down by serious injuries. We see how fragile stability can be.
A Day on the Build Site
On June 11th, 2026, our New Mexico team joined Habitat staff, volunteers, and the future homeowner on-site.
