Semi-truck crash on I-70 in Hancock County sparks fire.

HANCOCK COUNTY, IN - An accident involving two semi-trucks shut down a portion of Interstate 70 in Hancock County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to an advisory from WIBC Traffic at about 5 p.m., the semis crashed and caught fire near mile marker 98 on eastbound I-70.  The interstate was closed at Mount Comfort Road, Exit 96, while emergency crews responded to the wreck.   There were no life-threatening injuries from the incident.

Traffic was stopped for about four miles, going back to Post Road.  Drivers were advised to exit there, go south to U.S. 40, head east to State Road 9, then north back to I-70.
