Elkhart County crash sends driver to hospital after yard impact.

ELKHART COUNTY, IN - A car wreck in Elkhart County Thursday morning sent a driver to the hospital, WNDU reports.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a 2022 Nissan Altima was going south on County Road 25 when the crash happened at about 10:30 a.m.  The car veered off the right side of the road near County Road 46, crashed into a sloped yard, and continued through several other yards.

The Nissan eventually collided with a fence, a tree, and a hill, then struck a rock and a mailbox before coming to a stop.  The driver, identified as 31-year-old Jesse Mcnabb of Warsaw, was hospitalized with possible head injuries.

The sheriff's office is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
