A Day on the Green, A Wheel of Hope for a Family: Recapping the 16th Annual Samantha’s House Golf Outing
On Tuesday, September 1st, our hearts were full at Wood Wind Golf Club as the 16th Annual Samantha’s House Golf Outing brought our community together once again. The volunteers, sponsors, and friends who gave their time and generosity that day helped raise nearly $75,000, more than $25,000 above last year’s total, enough to provide a family in need with a fully retrofitted, wheelchair-accessible SUV.
The Story Behind Samantha’s House
Samantha’s House carries the name of Samantha Allen, a young Indianapolis girl whose life changed forever after a car accident in 2003 left her needing full-time medical care. What began as a single case handled by our firm grew into something much bigger: a nonprofit built to give children and families facing similar challenges the freedom, dignity, and independence they deserve.
Samantha herself was so much more than her injury. She was an artist, a sister, and a source of joy to everyone who knew her. Thanks to the support of the Indianapolis community, her family received a fully accessible home in 2005. Though Samantha passed away in 2017, her legacy lives on through the foundation that bears her name, which has spent more than two decades building accessible homes and funding wheelchair-equipped vehicles for families across Central Indiana.
Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers has been proud to stand behind this mission from the very beginning, Today, Jim Keller, Managing Partner of Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers and Co-founder of Samantha’s House, continues to serve on the Samantha’s House board.
What This Year’s Outing Looked Like
This year’s outing brought our community together for a shotgun start, raffle prizes, and hole contests throughout the course. But more than anything, the day was a gathering of people who care, as a founding supporter of Samantha’s House, Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers was honored to help lead the day, sponsoring the event and inviting our team, clients, and community partners to be part of something that means so much to us.

The Impact: Nearly $75,000 Raised for a Fully Retrofitted, Wheelchair-Accessible SUV
Every dollar raised goes directly toward the mission: giving families the tools they need to move through the world with more ease. This year’s nearly $75,000 total, a jump of more than $25,000 over last year, will provide a family with a fully retrofitted SUV, complete with a wheelchair ramp, a gift that means safe travel and the simple joy of going places together.
Thank You to Our Volunteers, Sponsors, and Community
To the volunteers who gave their time, the sponsors who made the day possible, and every member of our community who gave so generously, thank you. Days like this remind us what’s possible when people come together for a cause worth fighting for.
Here’s to 16 years of giving back, and to the next family whose future will be changed because of this community’s generosity.
