A Swift Surprise: Josiah's Magical Night with Taylor SwiftJosiah

At Keller & Keller, we know that real impact happens when communities come together. Recently, we had the joy of making a young boy’s dream a reality—thanks to a special partnership with our favorite nonprofit, Samantha’s House.

Five-year-old Josiah Medler has faced more challenges than most of us will ever know. Born with a congenital heart condition, he’s had to undergo multiple surgeries at Riley Hospital for Children. Despite all of this, Josiah is a lively, joyful kid who finds pure happiness in music—especially Taylor Swift’s songs. His dream was simple: to attend her “Eras Tour” concert in Indianapolis.

When Josiah’s mom shared his story on social media, expressing his love for Taylor Swift and his hope of attending the concert, it caught our attention immediately. We knew we wanted to make this dream happen, and that’s when we reached out to Samantha’s House, a nonprofit that has been close to our hearts for years. Together, we worked to secure tickets specifically for Josiah, which allowed us to still proceed with our own planned giveaway of the tickets we originally had.

Samantha’s House: Making Dreams Possible

Samantha’s House was founded after Keller & Keller represented a young girl named Samantha who suffered life-changing injuries in an accident. Since then, the nonprofit has been dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and injuries by creating accessible living solutions tailored to their needs. Whether it’s building fully accessible homes or providing specially adapted vans, Samantha’s House is committed to making life easier for those facing daily challenges.

The opportunity to work with Samantha’s House for Josiah was a perfect fit. We wanted to give back to someone who has already faced so much adversity at such a young age, and together, we made it possible. The moment we handed Josiah his tickets was priceless—his face lit up with joy, and his excitement was contagious. It was a reminder that small acts of kindness can create moments of pure magic.

Josiah’s story also highlights the incredible care provided by Riley Hospital for Children. Their work has been crucial in Josiah’s journey, and we are grateful for everything they do for families like his. We encourage anyone inspired by this story to support Riley Hospital and Samantha’s House, as both organizations continue to make life-changing differences for children and families in need.
