On Monday, November 24 , 2025, we had the privilege of hosting our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, and we are still overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, smiles, and community spirit that filled the day. What started as a simple way for us to give back has grown into one of the most meaningful events of our year, and this year’s turnout left us truly humbled.
We're Blown Away by The Community Response!
Before the sun was even up, cars were already lining up outside our office. We'd hoped that this year’s giveaway would make a difference, but the response went far beyond anything we anticipated.
Within just a few hours, all 500 free turkeys were distributed! Watching each turkey go into the hands of someone preparing to bring loved ones together for Thanksgiving reminded us why this tradition matters so much. We feel deeply grateful for everyone who took time out of their day to stop by. Whether you waited in line at dawn, volunteered alongside us, or simply helped spread the word, thank you!
Our team was especially moved by the stories shared throughout the morning. Some folks were picking up a turkey for their own holiday meal; others wanted to help a neighbor or a family member who couldn’t make it out. Time and time again, we were reminded of the generosity and compassion that define Indianapolis. Even in the busiest moments, every interaction reflected kindness and community pride.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our staff, volunteers, and partners who helped coordinate traffic, greet visitors, and keep everything running smoothly. Their efforts ensured that every person who came through the line felt welcomed and appreciated.

Seeing hundreds of cars wrap around the block, watching families wave from their windows, and hearing the words of gratitude as each turkey was handed out: these are moments we will carry with us long after the holiday season ends.
