INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police in Indianapolis were called to the scene of a fatal crash early Sunday morning, according to WXIN.
The accident happened at the intersection of W. 62nd Street and N Michigan Road on the city's northwest side sometime before 3:30 a.m. Investigators determined that the driver of a Jeep was making a turn onto northbound Michigan Road and was hit by a Nissan headed south on the roadway.
The driver of the Jeep, identified as 29-year-old Yefri Cruz-Reyes, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The Nissan driver was hospitalized in critical condition.
At the time of the crash, police said there was a flashing red light on West 62nd St and a flashing yellow light on Michigan Road.
