CORDOVA, NM - New Mexico State Police said two vehicles were involved in a fatal crash near Cordova on Saturday morning.
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the NMSP said the vehicles collided head-on while traveling on New Mexico 76 at about 9:45 a.m.
The driver of one of the vehicles, whose name was not released, suffered fatal injuries.
Three people who were in the other vehicle were transported to a hospital, but no details were available on their conditions. There was no word on what led to the crash. A state police spokesman said that so far there have been not been any arrests.
