INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police said a driver was killed in an accident near the 1300 block of Madison Avenue in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon.
WISH reports police responded to the crash on the city's south side at about 2:07 p.m. and found a person dead at the scene. An investigation indicated the victim was driving south on Madison Avenue when the vehicle went off the road and hit a pole/fencing. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the cause of the incident.
