ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office were on the scene of a fatal truck accident on Friday morning.
In an alert posted at 1:44 a.m., the BCSO said a semi crashed on eastbound Interstate 40 at mile marker 135 near the Route 66 Casino.
Authorities arrived to find one person who was beyond life-saving measures and was pronounced dead at the scene. No details were released on the victim's identity or what led to the crash.
