INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a car accident on the south side of Indianapolis on Friday afternoon.
According to WTHR, the driver of a Ford Mustang was headed south on Shelby Street at about 1 p.m. when the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into a house in the 2000 block of the street.
One person was taken to an area hospital, though the individual's identity and the extent of their injuries was not disclosed. No one in the home was injured.
There was no immediate word on what may have led to the accident. Shelby Street was shut down by police as the car was being removed from the house.
