2 injured in collision of motorcycle and bicycle near Indianapolis

HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN - Authorities said a collision in Hendricks County on Thursday evening sent two people to the hospital.

WXIN reports the incident happened in the area of Raceway Road and County Road 300, where a motorcycle collided with a bicycle at about 7 p.m.

Investigators found that a motorcycle rider going south on Raceway Road struck a teenager riding the bicycle. The motorcyclist and the bicyclist were both in critical condition after being taken to area hospitals.

The Hendricks County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
