GRAND RAPIDS, MI - A collision in Grand Rapids early Sunday morning left two people injured, Michigan State Police said.
According to MSP Sixth District, a state trooper was conducting a traffic stop on northbound US-131 near Wealthy Street at about 3:36 a.m. The driver of a minivan skidded on the wet pavement and crashed into the trooper's patrol car.
The trooper sustained minor injuries, while the minivan driver was hospitalized with a head injury.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
