RIO RANCHO, NM - Police were called to the scene of an accident that was disrupting traffic in Rio Rancho on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Rio Rancho Observer, three cars were involved in the crash. It took place sometime before 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Cabezon Boulevard.
Passengers in the vehicles declined medical treatment, police said. Emergency crews responded to clear the debris from the scene.
The intersection was shut down for most of the afternoon, with drivers restricted from making most turns on Unser Boulevard and Cabezon Boulevard.
