 3 injured in Elkhart County crash after driver goes through stop sign

ELKHART COUNTY, IN - A head-on collision in Elkhart County on Monday night sent three people to the hospital, according to WSBT.

Police said a 17-year-old driver went through a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 32 and County Road 11 at about 7 p.m.  The car then collided with another vehicle that was traveling on County Road 32.  The impact sent the first vehicle off the roadway, where it crashed into a tree.

The 17-year-old and a passenger in their car were transported to the hospital, while the other driver was taken to the hospital by family members.  No details were released on the conditions of the injured victims.
