WESTFIELD, IN - A Westfield school bus was involved in a collision with a truck towing a backhoe on Friday morning, WXIN reports.
The vehicles crashed in the area of Mule Barn Road and 193rd Street at about 8:15 a.m. There were no serious injuries among the 21 students on board the bus and the two drivers, officials said.
But the bus driver and three of the students were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Another bus arrived to transport the students from Westfield Intermediate School and Westfield Middle School from the scene.
The crash is under investigation by Westfield police.
