SOUTH BEND, IN - Two people were taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident in South Bend on Sunday morning, the South Bend Fire Department said.
According to a WBND report, the incident happened in the area of Goodland Avenue and Elwood Avenue. The driver ran off the road, where the vehicle went over barriers and crashed into a wall of trees. The two injured victims were extricated from the vehicle by rescue crews.
There was no immediate word on the extent of their injuries, or the circumstances that led to the crash.
