CIBOLA COUNTY, NM - New Mexico State Police said an accident was affecting traffic in a portion of Cibola County on Monday night.
The NMSP issued an alert at 6:33 p.m. advising drivers of the crash that occurred on Interstate 40 eastbound at mile marker 102 in North Acomita Village. Both lanes of the interstate were closed, and traffic was being diverted onto State Road 124. Drivers were asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
State Police released an update about an hour later saying that all lanes had been reopened.
