Accident causes delays on I-70 on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Drivers were alerted to an accident that was slowing traffic on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday morning.

According to a post by TTWN Indianapolis at 9:40 a.m., the crash happened on Interstate 70 westbound. The left lane was blocked on the interstate at Rural Street/Keystone Avenue/Exit 85 while crews responded to the scene.

The incident resulted in stop and go traffic going back to Emerson Avenue at Exit 87.
