ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to an accident affecting traffic on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque on Thursday afternoon.
According to an advisory on NMRoads, shortly after 1 p.m., the crash took place on I-25 southbound at mile marker 228 near Montgomery Boulevard.
The left lane and left shoulder of the interstate were closed near the scene. Motorists were advised to expect traffic delays and to use caution when driving through the area.
