SOUTH BEND, IN - An accident was causing backups for drivers in South Bend during Monday morning's rush hour, according to WNDU.
The crash, which occurred at about 6:20 a.m., shut down the eastbound lanes of the US-20 Bypass between Michigan Street and Ironwood Drive. There was no word on what led to the incident, though police cautioned that there were slick conditions on area roadways. No injuries were immediately reported.
Traffic delays were reported in the eastbound lanes and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes until further notice.
