BUCK CREEK, IN - A two-vehicle accident in Tippecanoe County Tuesday morning left one of the drivers dead and the other hospitalized, WISH reports.
Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of State Road 25 and County Road 450 North near Buck Creek at 5:45 a.m.
An investigation indicated that the driver of a Toyota SUV going westbound failed to yield on County Road 450 and entered the path of a northbound Kia, resulting in a collision.
The Toyota driver, identified as 75-year-old Kenneth Mueller of Buck Creek, was killed in the crash. The other driver, a 51-year-old Lafayette woman, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
