Accident causes delays on I-70 on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash slowed traffic on the east side of Indianapolis during Monday morning's rush hour, according to WIBC Traffic.

An advisory posted at 8:06 a.m. said the accident occurred on westbound Interstate 70 approaching the North Split.

The right lane of the interstate was blocked while the scene was being cleared, and traffic was reported to be jammed going back to Emerson Avenue.
