MESQUITE, NM - A driver was hospitalized following a car accident in Dona Ana County on Monday morning, according to a report by KFOX.
The crash occurred on Interstate 10 westbound near the community of Mesquite. The driver involved sustained minor injuries.
Investigators say that alcohol appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident but the investigation is ongoing. Emergency crews responded to clear the scene and tow away the car involved.
