Accident on north side of Indianapolis stops traffic for miles

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident caused major delays for drivers on the north side of Indianapolis during Monday morning's rush hour.

An advisory from WIBC Traffic at 7:40 a.m. reported that the crash occurred on Interstate 465 westbound after Michigan Road.

The two right lanes of the interstate were blocked during the emergency response, stopping traffic for three miles going back to Ditch Road.
