Accident on NW side of Indianapolis leaves 1 person critically injured

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - One person was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday following a vehicle accident on the northwest side of Indianapolis, police said.

According to a report by WXIN, the incident happened in the 5100 block of Lafayette Road, where officers were called to the scene after a serious injury crash was reported at about 4:47 p.m.

The person who was injured was hospitalized in critical condition. No further information was released on the circumstances surrounding the crash.
