Alleged drunk driver crashes pickup into St. Joseph County home

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, IN - Police have made an arrest in connection with a crash that occurred Friday night in St. Joseph County.

According to WSBT, the driver of a pickup truck crashed into a home near McKinley Highway and Cedar Road at about 6:30 p.m. Police said it happened after the vehicle did not stop at the intersection while going north on Cedar.

The alleged driver, 44-year-old Allan Davey, has now been arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OWI endangerment.

Three people were in the home's kitchen at the time of the incident, but they were not injured. Davey suffered minor injuries.
