Bicyclist dies after being struck by vehicle in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, IN - Authorities in Morgan County said an accident late Tuesday night left a bicycle rider dead.

WRTV reports the incident occurred along State Road 67 near Mosier Road, where the victim was hit by a vehicle shortly before 10:45 p.m.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. The person's name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

The crash is under investigation by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department.
