INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police were at the scene of an accident that killed a bicycle rider on Tuesday morning.
According to a WISH report, officers responded to the area of Raymond Street and Harding Street on the southwest side at about 6:30 a.m. after being notified of a pedestrian struck. Police found that a bicyclist had been hit by a vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said traffic would be affected in the area for several hours while an investigation was being conducted into the crash. Drivers and pedestrians were advised to seek alternate routes.
