INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indianapolis Fire Department was at the scene of a car accident at a home on Saturday morning.
According to the IFD's X post, a vehicle crashed through a residence at 243 Kansas Street at about 11:50 a.m. and also plowed into a fire hydrant in the area of Senate Avenue. No one was home at the time of the crash.
Fire department crews were dispatched to assess the structural integrity of the house and found significant damage but there was no threat of collapse. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the cause of the incident.
