INDIANAPOLIS, IN - First responders and utility crews were called to the scene of a car crash on the west side of Indianapolis early Tuesday morning, WTHR reported.
Police said a sedan collided with a utility pole on West Washington Street near South High School Road at about 3:45 a.m. Three people were in the car but escaped with minor injuries.
The crash caused power lines to fall on Washington Street, and all lanes were closed while utility crews removed the lines. Police are investigating the accident. At this time, they did not believe intoxication was a contributing factor.
