INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A man was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a collision in Indianapolis on Tuesday evening, according to WTHR.
Police officers were called to the scene in the area of North Arlington Avenue and East 12th Street on the city's east side.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was going south on North Arlington Avenue at a high rate of speed just before 6 p.m. The motorcycle collided with a Dodge Durango making a turn from North Arlington onto East 12th Street.
The motorcycle rider, identified as 39-year-old Hollie Berry III, suffered fatal injuries. Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time.
The driver of the Durango stayed at the scene, authorities said.
